What is Kanban?
Kanban is a production technique developed by Taiichi Ohno at Toyota. It is a method used in inventory management as part of the just-in-time production approach. A kanban or card indicating the delivered quantity is placed on the produced parts. When all the parts are used, the same card returns to the initial point and generates the next production request.
E-Kanban enables the management of these operations, which are traditionally handled with paper and cards on the production floor, through an online platform. E-Kanban allows the implementation and management of the Kanban system electronically.
Properties
Instead of conducting work through manual Excel files, the transition to E-Kanban allows for savings in lost time.

The part traceability system has been migrated to a digital platform. Real-time traceability analyses can be performed through the e-kanban system.

Excel, paper etc. Error proneness to data accuracy within the system is eliminated.

Reporting and analysis work can be automatically obtained from the e-kanban system.
